Safety surfaces

We can give advise and also supply the following safety surfaces:

• SafaGrass safety Matting. An excellent solution providing an Environmentally friendly (recycled rubber), non-slip, impact absorbing safety and footway surfaces. Ideal for fitness/fun trails, cableways, most multi-function play frames, springers, swings and pathways.

• Rubber bark (mulch)(click on the picture below for technical information). This product has many benefits over the rubber chippings: they are fire retardant, no chocking hazard, different colours, without toxic paints, etc. No need to top up and only 50 mm depth needed in most cases. Doesn't attract animals, easy to clean if necessary. This product is great for both commercial and residential projects.

• Softbond  A cheaper alternative to Wet Pour.  Same quality, coloured rubber mulch; combined with a binder; mixed on site and levelled out to provide a more attractive and cheaper option to traditional granulate wet pour.

• Rubber tiles from Ecoscape: 100 % recycled rubber shreds coloured and preformed into safe and durable mats.  Safe, sturdy and flexible rubber tiles and mats which can be used for playground surfacing, pathways and patios.

• Wet Pour: The material we use is a top of the range, dual layer porous system. It has a continuous finish that can be installed to flat, mounded or ramped sub-structures. It can have different colours and a range of shapes can be added to them to make the surface more interesting. Please contact us for details of the area you wish to install this product in.

• Bark, The traditional solution for playgrounds and gardens providing an attractive play area. For Commercial applications it can be ideal for pubs and visitor centres, especially in Rural Areas. Critical fall height depends upon depth of application.  There are many different types of bark and playchips available, please call us for further information on 01432 880424.

• Cushion Fall. Similar to traditional bark however this product is made from recycled soft woodfibres that knit together to form a stable long-lasting surface, giving excellent absorption against impact. Cushionfall is high quality and virtually maintenance free. Call us or email us for a quote.
