Using rubber mulch should provide you with some impressive benefits:

Consider organic bark versus rubber bark. "Buy now, don't pay later"

Ordinary bark only lasts 6-12 months. Normal barl also compacts, turns to mulch and so needs constant replacement and costs money to remove. Children will get dirty playing in it and they will bring the bark in to the house/school on the soles of their shoes.                

Our rubber bark lasts for 3-10 years, never discolours, doesn't compact, doesn't rot, doesn't blow away, dires quickly and doesn't freeze. It also will not stick to shoes so it will not be grought indoors and no colour from the bark will ever transfer on to children's clothes, thanks to the patented colouring methods used in these products.

Rubber bark and rubber chippings can provide a multi purpose, multi colour surface making outdoor learning and playground activities safer for children. All oour products are tested and certified. Don't forget you would need 50% more organic bark than rubber bark to achieve the same critical fall height in your play areas. Just as important, for the sake of the environment, no trees are sacrificed to make these products.                   

EASY INSTALL

No formal ground preparation is required as it can usually be laid over most existing surfaces including soil, concrete or old bark if necessary. Installation is as easy as emptying the 10 kilo bags into your retained area which can be created by digging into the ground and filling back up to the surrounding land level, or by bordering the area with rubber kerbstones to create a 'pit' above ground.

WHAT ARE RUBBER CHIPPINGS?

Rubber chippings that can be in loose fill form or bonded. The chippings are 20mm diameter. They are from recycled car tyres and have some fiber in them, but are completely safe for use around children. They are also metal free.

They have the same benefits as the rubber bark/mulch.
